They really said a white wedding dress isn’t enough.
The dress was designed by Aojierou, which was inspired by their fear of war. Its the first look of his newest collection in which he explores the question “What if war never ends?”. In their imagination, an effect of a never ending war results into war being integrated into every aspect of our lives where people are always trapped in the cycle of fearing war.
The idea was initiated after the designer saw a video about a wedding being terminated because of war, the emotional effects that prompted Aojierou to create the Body Armour Wedding Dress that expressed the effects of war to human society and awareness of self protection.
This is real fashion design. Not just in terms of the complex look and outcome, but attaching meaning and storylines to your pieces.
