Corteiz have started this year strong, wasting no time! I have a good feeling they will top 2022. We’re only just over 2 weeks into 2023 and what we’ve seen already is looking promising.
CORTEIZ X NIKE
If you were around London's oxford street on Monday, you would've seen Corteiz project their logo on Nike's flagship store. Of course, people were quick to label it as another one of their guerrilla marketing techniques as thats one of the things the brand is heavily known for. A few even labelled it as an act of rebellion against Nike, however...
Today Clint and Nike confirmed both labels will be launching a collab this year. Its unclear as to when and what's dropping but this will essentially be Clint's first collab with a major brand.
DRAKE IN DA SKYDIVE
As we all know, Drake is a rapper who is very "tapped in". He's consistently showed love to the UK and now we've seen him rocking "DA SKYDIVE" leather jacket. Corteiz sold out their jacket in 10 minutes last month. Keep in mind this jacket retailed at £750 with 100 units!
CLINT X DRIZZY
In our 2023 trend forecast, i predicted UK brands bridging the gap into US. Corteiz are slowly doing that with the Nike collab, and Drake rocking the clothes. I think this picture encapsulates the moment clint knew Drake would wear his brand one day.
CLINT IS UPPING THE LEVELS ON DESIGNS
2023, I think Corteiz will switch up designs heavily. People have been hating on Corteiz for their designs but the racer jacket Clint previewed, DA SKYDIVE leather jacket and the leather gloves are all showing signs of how Clint is looking to elevate his brand this year.
