WALÉ ADEYEMI’S RETURN HAS GOT ME EXCITED

After a long hiatus from dropping, the brand is finally back with a new drop on Sunday, remastering 30 years of heritage the brand has built.

Looking through their archive, it was clear that they were an OG in the UK streetwear game. They blended music and fashion so well, they were the go to spot for artists at the time looking to build their image and pick up custom pieces by the designer (& stylist). Their signature graffiti motif mixed with their eye for denim pieces spoke to the streets, across music artists (big & small), young people and subcultures within the UK music scene, such as grime and garage

What's got me most excited is seeing the brand applied to the current landscape. I’ll be looking forward to seeing how the brand operates in today's evolved streetwear space.
