Esenes are officially dropping their "Boneheads" on February 21st!
The NY-based brand took inspiration from the Pokemon Cubone to create this EVA slider. The first colourway is set to drop in "Qbone" white and I believe there are more colourways to come.
I think Esenes, did an excellent replicating Cubone's helmet and turning it into a wearable sneaker. The horns on the rear, the spiky soles, the holes and the bulges are all features identical to the ground-type Pokemon.
Last year, they went viral previewing a sample pair that came in an earthy tone and also included cracks portraying the dry ground the Pokemon is synonymous with. I do hope we eventually get one in this colourway too as it's only right.
