OUTBREAK LAB EXPLORED HOW CRAFTSMANSHIP MAY LOOK AFTER 100 YEARS

Fresh off the back of Paris Fashion Week, we get to see Outbreak Lab’s FW25 lookbook

The brand explores the “evolution of traditional craftsmanship” over the next 100 years in their own eyes in terms of fabrics, dyes, trims, construction and cuts.

The brands natural approach to the production of this collection includes:

- using a special process that increases the fabric volume of cotton giving it a wool like texture

- using unconventional resources to dye clothes such as walnut shells, pomegranate peels, beetle leaves & more

- using NASA asteroid scans to to formulate a concept of using “rocks as buttons” with the help of specialised printers

- extended hand made techniques to enhance the vision of what it’d be like crafting and wearing clothes from 100 years in the future

Highly highly recommend you check out their in detail explanations via their page as they’ll explain better than I can lol.
